I never knew weep holes existed until three days ago. You guessed it, I have a problem. The association that I live in poured a sidewalk several years ago over the top of my weep holes on the side of my house. I recently smelled mold in my kitchen. Upon investigation, the black paper, insulation, and drywall in my kitchen are ruined. I have contacted the association as well as the city building code enforcement team. According to the city it is violation to pour the concrete over the weep holes. They are going to come out and cite the association. This citation will help me get the concrete removed as well as getting my ruined black paper, insulation, drywall, and stucco repaired. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT INFORMATION.
